Oct. 27--Red Lobster, once synonymous with endless fried shrimp specials and bottomless buckets of crab, is in the midst of a multiyear makeover designed to further nudge the seafood chain away from its hush puppy roots. Earlier this week, Red Lobster, owned by Orlando-based Darden Restaurants Inc., said it will expand its fresh fish offerings, launch a redesigned menu and offer dishes with new flavors ranging from a creamy honey BBQ sauce to a sweet and spicy glaze.
