Oct. 28--Bennie Walker is sitting in a corner. He isn't being punished, like a misbehaving child. Far from it. The corner is a small slice of heaven for the veteran Cedar Valley broadcaster. On a Wednesday night, Walker is hosting a talk show on KBOL (100.1-FM on the dial). The hour-long program is called "Coaches Corner with Bennie Walker," and the title is literally true. Over to Walker's left, there's a wide-screen television tuned to ESPN and its tower of babblers. Walker, though, is parked a table at the Red River in downtown Waterloo.
