Tata Motors ready to set up plant for Rs one lakh car
Kolkata, Oct 29 (PTI) Notwithstanding the heat generated over the acquisition of land for its small car project in West Bengal, Tata Motors today said that work on setting up of its ambitious project to provide car for Rs one lakh would start in a few months.
"Our small car is ready to be manufactured, the prototype has been okayed after all tests, the technology has been frozen and the vendors are being finalised," a Tata Motors spokesperson told PTI from Mumbai.
