Christopher Plummer and Brian Dennehy will "Inherit the Wind" this spring, toplining a revival of the 1955 play set for a 12-week run at the Lyceum Theater starting in March.
Jerome Lawrence and Robert E. Lee's "Wind," a fictionalized version of the 1925 Scopes monkey trial, will be helmed by Doug Hughes ("Doubt"). Plummer is cast as a lawyer defending a high school science teacher convicted of teaching evolution, while Dennehy portrays the prosecuting attorney.
