The relationship between Master Boat Builders Inc. and Abdon Callais Offshore LLC remains strong as evidenced by three recent deliveries of offshore service vessels to the Golden Meadow, La., boat operator.
In June, Bayou La Batre, Ala.-based Master Boat completed the Father John Keller, a 145'X36'X12' steel-hulled DP-1 OSV with capacities that include 24,600 gals. of fuel and 1,250 bbls. of liquid mud.

The boat's main propulsion comes from two Caterpillar 3508B diesels, each producing 850 hp at 1,200 rpm. The Cats connect to Rolls- Royce Hung Chin 64"X54" 4-bladed bronze propellers through Twin Disc MG-6690 marine gears ...
