The Islamic art world is buzzing with anticipation over the upcoming sale of a 15th century oil lamp.

The magnificent 15th century lamp, lavishly inlaid with silver and described as "the most historically important Turkish object Sotheby's have ever had the privilege of offering", is expected to sell for around |pounds~1 million, in a sale of Islamic Works of Art at Sotheby's in London in April.
