As Deval Patrick racks up endorsements from a number of prominent officials, two of the state's top Democrats have been all but absent from the stump for the gubernatorial nominee.
Attorney General Tom Reilly, who lost to Patrick in the primary, has not been seen with Patrick since and has made only two short public statements backing him.
Similarly, Secretary of State William Galvin has never appeared with Patrick on the stump.
Wayne Budd, a longtime Reilly friend who joined a number of Republicans in endorsing Patrick yesterday, said the AG told him he was willing to help Patrick. "He's reached out," Budd said of Reilly. "On election ...
