Nov. 1--Nancy Dedman and T. Boone Pickens will share this year's Outstanding Philanthropist Award at Thursday's 21st annual National Day Awards Luncheon.
The Association of Fundraising Professionals Greater Dallas chapter is hosting the event at the Hyatt Regency Dallas at Reunion.
Ms. Dedman was nominated by Southern Methodist University, where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a Bachelor of Arts degree in history and political science. She and her late husband, Robert H. Dedman, have given more than $70 million to her alma mater.
