Nov. 1--About 10 restaurants and stores on the tenant list at the new Bayshore Town Center -- including Trader Joe's -- won't be part of the grand opening of the newly expanded Glendale shopping center on Thursday.
Some of the stores had planned for later openings, while others have experienced construction delays, Bayshore spokesman Phill Trewyn said.
Trader Joe's, the Monrovia, Calif.-based grocery chain, is regarded as the star of the show at the Bayshore expansion and is expected to draw shoppers from a wide area. The store is now scheduled to open Nov. 10, Trewyn said.
