NEW YORK, Nov. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- In an effort to remove cultural and communication barriers to quality health care in New York City's Hispanic community, Beth Israel Medical Center recently launched The Latino Health Initiative, one of the first hospital-based programs in the metropolitan region committing staff and resources to specifically address the health needs of the Latino market.
