Nov. 1--Tyler Legate says it wasn't a dramatic change or life-altering occurrence that has transformed Neligh-Oakdale's football program.
Just plain old hard work, not to mention a little bit of fun.
Legate, who rushed for 301 yards last week against Franklin, has been a big part of the school's most successful season during the playoff era. Neligh-Oakdale's 41-26 win over the Flyers was the first playoff victory for the Warriors (7-2).
"Everyone's been pretty amped up," Legate said. "It's been pretty cool, something we definitely don't want to end."
