For Yuri Shchekochikhin (pronounced She-koe-shi-kin), Russia's most famous and popular muckraker, the Western media are too focused on Vladimir Zhirinovsky, the maverick Russian nationalist whose party stunned Russian President Boris Yeltsin and his Western supporters by finishing with a quarter of the votes cast in December's elections.
