NEW YORK -- No single sector of the nutritional supplements market attracts more consumers than multivitamins and multiminerals.
In fact, the segment continues to represent one of the few bright spots in an otherwise lackluster category, those in the industry say.
Market data shows that Americans spend an estimated $23 billion a year on these products, and researchers have found that more than half of the adults in the country use multivitamins and multiminerals. And nearly a third of those users take the products every day.
