Nov. 2--Business is brisk these days for Marvin Garaway and fellow members of the Green Valley American Legion post's honor guard.
But in their line of work, that's not necessarily a happy thing. Garaway and fellow members of Post 66's honor guard provide military honors at veterans' funerals.
"We had nine funerals last month alone," said Garaway, the honor guard commander and the post's sergeant-at-arms.
Demand for that free service has grown over the past couple of months, partly because Garaway has been spreading the word that the 16-member honor guard is willing and able to provide proper military ceremony at the ...
