Hungarian railway infrastructure market to double to EUR 80 mln by 2007 - Alcatel Transport CEO

BUDAPEST. NOVEMBER 3. INTERFAX CENTRAL EUROPE - The Hungarian railway infrastructure market is expected to double from EUR 40 mln to EUR 80 mln by 2007, Alfred Veider, CEO of French technology company Alcatel's transport arm Alcatel Transport Solutions (ATS), told Interfax in a telephone interview Friday.
"The Hungarian railway market, which we are active in, is currently about EUR 40 mln," Veider said. "What we expect is a growing market in Hungary, [it will] approximately double by 2007."
