Nov. 4--Virginia will know it has accomplished something if it can hold a fifth straight ACC football opponent scoreless for the first half today.
Four straight 30-minute ACC shutouts has been an impressive feat, but history would suggest that UVa (4-5, 3-2 ACC) won't hold Florida State (4-4, 2-4) off the scoreboard for long.
The Seminoles have won all seven of their meetings with Virginia at Doak Campbell Stadium, site of today's noon kickoff. Most have been over by halftime.
