When Eden Prairie was selected by Money magazine last summer as one of the 10 best places to live in the country, things seemingly couldn't have been any better for one of the Twin Cities' premier suburbs.
City leaders were so excited about being in the running for the award that the magazine had to ask them to remove the news from a city website because the official announcement hadn't yet been made.
Longtime City Council Member Ron Case, who is now running for mayor against fellow Council Member Phil Young, has dotted the city with lawn signs that refer to "Top Ten U.S. City" as a part of Case's record.
