Nov. 7--In the latest volley in the video game war and the battle for the digital living room, Microsoft on Monday announced a video download service for its Xbox 360 game console. The company plans to roll out the service on Nov. 22, the one-year anniversary of the console's launch. With the new service, most Xbox 360 owners will be able to download a selection of movies and TV shows, including "Superman Returns" and "CSI," to their console and watch them on their televisions.
