Nov. 7--McCOOK, Neb. -- McCook gave up its seventh touchdown of the season and little else in Monday's 42-7 rout of Cozad in the Class B quarterfinals. Craig Fritz had 130 yards and four touchdowns for Class B's top-ranked Bison (11-0). They shut out No. 7 Cozad (8-3) for the final three quarters, and the Haymakers gained just 72 yards after Eric Love's 79-yard touchdown run. "It's a pretty special defense," Bison coach Jeff Gross said. "We don't have a lot of superstars out there. They all play their position and play it dang well. They read their keys and stay home."
