Nov. 8--CHEYENNE -- Some football players have it, and others don't.
"It" is the intangible quality and the uncoachable ability to always be around the football on defense.
Cheyenne East senior Bryan Guthrie has it.
"I don't think there's a play where you can't find him hitting someone or being around the ball," first-year East coach Chad Goff said. "He is a good blitzer who follows through on his blitzes. He's able to chase people down and is able to make plays coming from the back side on counters.
"He's just a great all-around defender who leads by example with what he does on the field."
