Nov. 8--NEWPORT NEWS -- After losing two one-goal matches to Jamestown in overtime this season, Jamie Tierney decided to make some changes in James Monroe's lineup. Perhaps the biggest change for the Yellow Jackets' coach was moving Cameron McManus to center forward. She scored the first of James Monroe's two goals Tuesday afternoon, leading to a 2-0 victory over Jamestown in the first round of the Group A/AA state field hockey tournament at Christopher Newport University.
