Nov. 8--Ten years ago, Christine Drumright made her first handbag for a charity auction to benA-efit AIDS research in Denver. It was a simple black-and-white cotton bag lined with hot-pink silk. It sold for $100, and she has been making bags ever since.
Her Eldorado studio has alarge closet filled with them: small bags, large bags, multiA-colored, funky bags and simple bags.
"I started out as a quilter, that's what got me working with fabric," said the artist who signs her creations as bb goochi.
