Nov. 9--Its common name is "destroying angel," and it will kill a human in fewer than three days if eaten. "For the first eight hours you won't feel anything," David Lewis of Kirbyville said of the plain-looking white mushroom. "Then you will have extreme diarrhea and start throwing up. Then it attacks your liver and you die. It's an awful way to go."
