Nov. 9--A group of nuns is forced to put on a show to raise money to bury four dead members of their order. Not exactly hilarious stuff, you'd think. Unless you were familiar with the show, as Midlands audiences should be by now. Dan Goggin's "Nunsense," in a new production at the Chanticleer Theater, mixes humor and music for a hilarious evening of theater, buoyed by a strong five-woman cast under the musical direction of Jerry Gray. The play went without a credited director, in a tribute to the late Bill Bohannon. Bohannon was set to direct "No Time for Sergeants" at the Chanticleer, and after his death the show was switched.
