Viewsonic VG2021
A good-quality, no-frills flat screen
Viewsonic's VG2021m is a simple 20in monitor that comes with only a VGA port for connecting a computer. In this day and age, that's a fairly sparse arrangement -- normally, we'd expect to see at least a DVI port as well, for flexibility's sake. It uses a normal aspect ratio, so it's not widescreen.
That said, the VG2021m does what it does well. It's a clear and sharp display, with excellent colour response and a good screen refresh rate -- the rate at which an LCD monitor 're-paints' the screen. On older monitors, that used to be a problem, leading to ...
