LOS ANGELES _ At the age of 7, Tim Jordan realized he was different.
At 11, he began to grasp exactly what his ``deep attraction for men'' really meant.
And in the difficult years immediately following, he grappled with the issue, hoping he'd change, wondering if anyone would ever understand.
