OVERLAND PARK, Kan. -- Dennis Bergeson has been appointed vice president supply chain and engineering for Compass Minerals (NYSE: CMP). He will be responsible for worldwide supply chain activities including purchasing, logistics, production planning and customer service. He will also lead the company's engineering resources focusing on effective deployment of capital, operational excellence, productivity initiatives and growth-investment opportunities.
