LOS ANGELES -- California Pizza Kitchen, Inc. (Nasdaq:CPKI), home of the Original BBQ Chicken Pizza and other innovative hearth-baked pizzas, made-to-order pastas, creative salads, appetizers, soups and desserts, opened its first location in Japan today. The new restaurant, the first opened by CPK franchise partner WDI Corporation, is located at Lazona Kawasaki, the largest shopping mall complex in the Tokyo region.
