VALDEZ, Alaska & DALLAS -- Copper Valley Wireless (CVW), a subsidiary of Copper Valley Telephone Cooperative (CVTC), and ZTE USA, Inc. a subsidiary of ZTE Corporation, a leading global provider of telecommunications equipment and network solutions, have jointly announced that Copper Valley Wireless has selected ZTE's All-IP CDMA2000 solution to provide its digital wireless services.
As part of the agreement, ZTE USA will supply its All-IP CDMA2000 1X Voice and EV-DO Rev.A systems, so that Copper Valley Wireless can launch its digital service by the first part of 2007.
