On any given Monday, prospective jurors in Manatee County wait for the opportunity to participate in the justice system. And now, thanks to an educational video produced by the Manatee County Bar Association and funded in part by The Florida Bar Foundation, that wait just got a little easier.
The $4,000 grant to the MCBA for "On Any Given Monday," an educational video on the evolution of jury service in America, is part of nearly $50,000 awarded by the Foundation this year to 16 voluntary bar associations throughout the state. Those funds will be used to replicate the video and distribute it throughout the community.
