Nov. 10--NORTH PORT -- When Brian Benedetto decided to open an Italian eatery in North Port, he wanted something more than just a pizza shop. He and his business partner, Mel Perry, wanted to offer "real food" -- top-quality, freshly made Italian food with the atmosphere of a New York neighborhood restaurant.
"There's one on every corner in New York," Benedetto said. "That's what we wanted to capture here."
Bella Napoli satisfies Mel's and Brian's high standards, down to its extended New York hours.
