Nov. 13--Northampton Township police arrested a teenager yesterday for phoning in bomb threats to Council Rock High School South.
These threats were received Thursday, two days after the threats that led to Wednesday's closing of both high schools in the Council Rock School District, police said.
The 16-year-old male, a district student who lives in the township's Holland section, was charged with a number of offenses, including making terroristic threats, and threatening to use a weapon of mass destruction, police said.
He was taken to the Bucks County Juvenile Detention Facility.
