DALLAS -- The North Texas Municipal Water District will come to market Thursday with a competitive offering of $125 million of water system revenue bonds to finance a pipeline providing more water for the rapidly growing suburbs it serves near Dallas-Forth Worth.
The deal follows an earlier offering in April worth $261.7 million to fund a wetlands drinking water project.
The NTMWA was created in 1951 as a conservation and reclamation district. Currently, it provides water for 13 member cities -- Garland, Princeton, Plano, Mesquite, Wylie, Rockwall, Farmersville, McKinney, Richardson, Allen, Forney, Frisco, and Royse City.
