There are now digital cameras present in 56 percent of Canadian households according to a consumer survey conducted by PMA Marketing Research. The survey looks at consumer activities with digital cameras, cameraphones, and film processing. The results are detailed in the new report, Consumer Imaging in Canada 2006. Digital camera owners in Canada captured about 1.7 billion digital images in the 12-month period ending in July. The report examines how consumers use and store these digital images, including the percentage of households that make prints, how many prints, and where they print.
