Nov. 14--LAKE WYLIE -- Why should churches and courthouses have all the fun? One Lake Wylie couple answered that question Wednesday night with an event unlike any ever seen by the congregation in attendance.
Rhonda Carol Wallace and Jon Paul Hawkins tied the nuptial knot in front of friends and family during an evening ceremony at Christopher's Bar & Grill on S.C. 49 in Lake Wylie. Wallace, an employee of about two years, and Hawkins, her favorite customer, exchanged vows in the establishment where they met a day shy of one year earlier. George Radzyminski officiated.
