Nov. 15--On the day he found out he was on the All-Star ballot, Erick Dampier played like he deserved to be in Las Vegas in February.
The Mavericks' center was a rebounding, scoring, shot-blocking beast, and he was all of those things against Ben Wallace, who just happens to be a four-time defensive player of the year.
Dampier's wild night ignited the Mavericks to a 111-99 victory over the Chicago Bulls, who are supposed to be one of the top defensive teams in the league but were second best Tuesday night at American Airlines Center.
It was the Mavericks' first home win of the season after two losses and gave them a three-game winning ...
