HOUSTON, June 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Sonat Offshore Drilling Inc. (NYSE: RIG) today announced that William C. O'Malley, chairman and chief executive officer of the company, is resigning effective August 31, 1994, to take a similar position with Tidewater, Inc. (NYSE: TDW). Tidewater is a leading supplier of marine transportation services.
