Nov. 15--The new Folk Art exhibit opening this week at the Nave Museum invariably brings up the question: Just what is folk art? The answer?
Well, how much time do you have? Defining what is, or is not, folk art is not as easy as one would think. Even the exhibit curator, Sharon Steen, has struggled with the answer to that question. "When we first began the process of gathering folk art from collectors in the area, I wanted to find a concise definition of what qualifies a piece as folk art.
