Degree Controls Inc. (DegreeC), a provider of thermal management solutions, announced the results of its first beta test of ADAPTIVCOOL, a state-of-the-art airflow management technology for data centers and clean rooms. During the beta test, ADAPTIVCOOL successfully reduced the beta site's data center's energy cost of cooling by nearly 20 percent while eliminating two troublesome hotspots.
Unveiled in January, APDATIVCOOL was designed to solve a problem experienced by data center managers around the world: increasing heat loads and rising utility bills.
