Hanovia has supplied a UV disinfection system to the United Bottling Company's new plant in Mogadishu, Somalia which will treat water before it is added to syrups and flavouring. The low pressure UV system treats a flow of 17[m.sup.3]/hour of reverse osmosis permeate.
Abdirisak Isse, founder and partner of the United Bottling Company, said: "The robustness and reliability of the Hanovia equipment was an important factor in our choice of UV system."
