Nov. 15--You have to feel a little sorry for the thriller "Day Break," which premieres 8 p.m. Wednesday on WLS-Ch. 7.
The new Taye Diggs show, about a man who relives the same bad day of his life over and over, is late to the serialized-TV party that broke out on the small screen this fall. You kind of hate to break it to "Day Break" that the crime-serial bash didn't go so well.
"Kidnapped," "Smith" and "Runaway" are all toast, and "The Nine" and "Vanished" are barely hanging onto their time slots (in the case of "Vanished," it's been banished to Fridays). The only serialized shows to have connected with viewers this fall ...
