Nov. 16--Fort Wayne's two competing hospital systems sent letters to their employees this week announcing that tobacco products will be banned on their respective campuses starting May 31.
The ban applies to visitors, as well as all Allen County clinics and outpatient facilities owned by either of the hospital systems -- Lutheran Health Network and Parkview Health system. All Fort Wayne hospitals and medical facilities are already smoke-free inside the buildings.
