MG vehicles will reappear first in the UK next year and then in the US a year later, say Duke Hale, CEO of the newly formed MG Cars North America/Europe.
Hale and a small group of employees in England are planning MG's rebirth in Europe and Asia.
In the coming three years, Chinese automaker Nanjing Automobile Group, which owns the MG brand, will launch a range of sedans produced in China and a modified version of the TF roadster made in the UK.
Starting in early September 2008, a new US plant in Oklahoma will assemble the MG TF coupe from parts flown in from China.
