Nov. 18--OCALA, Fla. -- Tom Warner's dream for the Florida Horse Park is for the 500-acre facility to become an international destination for equestrian competition. But as the not-for-profit organization's board chair, Warner understands that dreams, if they are to come true, need more than hope alone, but cash.
"It has to be about numbers, not about a hobby," Warner said after a Friday meeting at the Horse Park with county officials.
For Warner, the number is close to $5,625,000.
