Nov. 19--Out there . . . About 300 people turned out Nov. 9 at Stamford's Rich Forum to hear former Secretary of State Colin Powell share his insights about leadership and diplomacy at the first in a series of speaking engagements titled "Insights & Inspiration: Conversations with America's Leaders" planned by Visiting Nurse & Hospice Care of Southwestern Connecticut. Powell, who was introduced by VNHC director Tom Rich, joked about being named by Time magazine as one of five prominent men who are aging gracefully. He noted that he placed second behind Paul Newman in the magazine's online poll, but beat out Robert Redford.
