Nov. 19--CHARLOTTESVILLE -- Scott Stadium is no place to visit if your job is on the line.

If coach Al Groh could arrange to play all of his games at home, Virginia football fans might worship him.

The Cavaliers held once-proud Miami scoreless for more than 55 minutes Saturday and emerged with a 17-7 victory before a crowd of 55,542.

"The objective today was to keep them off balance," said Groh, whose Cavaliers set the tone by driving 92 yards for a touchdown on their first possession of the game. "We executed like a big-time team today."
