The National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) announced on October 19th that NDRC and the Ministry of Finance have signed agreements on the season commercial reserves of chemical fertilizers for the year of 2006-2007 with more than 40 corporations.
It is stipulated in agreements that if it is needed in macro control, the state has the preferential right to purchase season reserves of chemical fertilizers from these corporations. These corporations should guarantee the supply of goods. The price for transaction should not be higher than the average market price of the same varieties in local areas.
