NEW YORK -- While the clinical term "xerostomia" may be foreign to many, what it means is familiar to all: the unpleasant feeling of dry mouth.
"With the proliferation of over-the-counter and prescription medication use, we are seeing a dramatic increase in the number of people affected by dry mouth--a serious side effect of some of the most popularly prescribed drugs," says Kasey Soll, vice president of marketing at Laclede Inc.
