PULLMAN -- The Washington Huskies haven't had many big plays in the last two months. On Saturday night, it seemed as if they had stockpiled those big plays for their biggest rival.
The Huskies, who finished their season at Martin Stadium with a 35-32 upset win over arch-rival Washington State, used five big plays to snap a six-game losing skid and deny the Cougars a three-game Apple Cup winning streak.
Cody Ellis, Marlon Wood, Marcel Reece, Chris Stevens and Louis Rankin all have big-play ability, but they put it all together on a night when the Huskies needed them most.
