Nov. 17--WEST PALM BEACH--Not seen publicly since resigning from Congress in a national scandal, Mark Foley emerged Thursday in Palm Beach County after the death of his father. The former congressman, who left his post as a U.S. representative in September after the disclosure that he had sent sexually explicit e-mails to congressional pages, is in town for his father's funeral. Ed Foley, 85, died Tuesday.
Foley's emergence after a month or so of treatment in Arizona for alcoholism comes as the Florida Department of Law Enforcement indicated it has shifted from a preliminary inquiry to a "full-fledged criminal investigation" ...
